2008-12-30 Finally! Spasmodic's first fullength demo is finally done! We started the CARVE PERFECTION-project in the winter of 2006. We went to Johan Hjelm at Misfortune Recorders and recorded four songs. Surgery, Manic Obsession, Snip Snip Sweetheart and Carve Perfection. You can listen to the Carve Perfection song recorded in 2006 on our myspace-site or in the flashplayer here on this site. After listening to the tracks a few times we agreed to record them all over, including the remaining eight tracks. In the winter of 2007 we entered the studio for the second time, but during the recording Alexander got some serious problems with his throat by some kind of bacteria. After an antibiotic treatment he choosed to do the volcals anyway. The result was garbage! Not only the vocals, the rest of the band felt that they could perform better. So we entered the studio for the third time in the summer of 2008 to do the 12 tracks all over again, but this time without Mikael Persson on guitar. Mikael was a talented musician but did not feel suitable for this kind of brutal death music. Third time's a charm! In December 2008 we finally finished the demo, a result we are very happy about.
